When most people think of Marketing, they think of sales and advertising, but don’t really know where to go from there. Marketing in its entirety is really quite vast and multi-faceted. It could be argued that a company’s Marketing Plan is equally as important as its Business Plan. Making a product/service, packaging and distribution, all at a certain price point… this is only half the battle. Now, you have to convince consumers to buy your product. Not only that they need a can opener (for example), but that they need YOUR can opener specifically. Many conscious and subconscious decisions go into choosing (1) to buy a product/service, and (2) which product/service to buy. Is this purchase a necessity or a luxury? Can I afford it? If I buy Brand X, is it the best value for my money? These are only some of the questions consumers ask themselves consciously, and they don’t even come close to deconstructing the myriad of choices our brains are subconsciously making at any given moment.

While Marketing isn’t an exact science, it is possible to put as much information and intention behind your marketing efforts as possible, thus maximizing the value of every dollar you spend on marketing.

THIS IS WHERE I COME IN.

Marketing’s job is never done. It’s about perpetual motion. We must continue to innovate every day.
